The Surfing Experience

Between 1979 and 1985, a group of friends would set out on their regular pilgrimage to Jeffrey’s Bay in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

Inspired by Bruce Brown’s “The Endless Summer”, George McIntosh would bring along his super 8 video camera.

Nearly 40 years later, the footage has hardly been seen outside of the family.
